Client Accountant - fully remote ID - 13809

MyCFOPartners is a leading provider of outsourced accounting and finance solutions for small and mid-sized businesses across the U.S. We help CEOs, business owners, and management teams to spend more time ON their business, less IN it by taking accountability for the finance vertical. We work as a team to ensure the day-to-day tactical and long-term strategic accounting and finance elements of our clients are covered for demonstrable forward progress. We provide value in every area from day one.

The Client Accountant is accountable for the tactical, day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting of their portfolio of clients. They must be comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment and switching focus between clients throughout the day and managing a wide variety of tasks. Every client is different and every contract and set of deliverables varies based on our clients’ needs – there is no “one size fits all” approach. This role reports to the Controller and will interact with the CEO frequently.

This role requires an intense focus on details. If you are not a detail-oriented person, you will most likely not succeed in this position.

Team alignment in any organization is critical, and we are looking for someone who will align with our core values:

  • We treat our customers’ businesses like our own – we treat others as we’d want to be treated
  • Doing what’s right, not being right – let go of your ego
  • Unquestionable accountability – you own your actions and your role completely
  • We value our time – it’s our only inventory, so we don’t give it away
  • Planning for the future – we surround ourselves with pragmatic planners with an eye on the future

Overall, we offer our team the ability to work on a variety of clients, gain valuable industry expertise to learn and grow, a generous compensation package, a remote work experience, and an open and honest environment. In return, we ask for our team to fully commit to their role, align with our core values, and to get, want and have the capacity to deliver on their role.
