DESCRIPTION
The Department of Human Resources is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, Clerk Typist III. This position provides clerical support to the Workers Compensation Division within the Human Resources Department.
Please note: this recruitment will be accepting a limited number of applications for the position. Once the maximum number of submissions of 100 has been met, the job posting will be closed and no further applications will be accepted. We encourage candidates to apply as soon as possible.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
+ Reception Desk - Greeting visitors and guests and notifying staff of visitors
+ Photocopying and scanning documents working in a paperless environment
+ Act as backup to the Claims Assistants and Records Clerk as necessary
+ Types, edits, and formats correspondence, letters, and statistical data. Composes routine memos and correspondence.
+ Compiles information and data for reports and memos. Answers phones and takes accurate messages.
+ Responds to requests for information and direct inquiries appropriately.
+ Monitors Divisions Fax Incoming Box, sorts and distributes all faxes
+ Opens, sorts, and distributes mail. Maintains records and files.
+ Performs other related duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS TO FILE
+ Ability to type neatly and accurately at a net speed of 40 words per minute.
+ Ability to file in alphabetical and numerical order.
+ Ability to make simple mathematical computations.
+ Ability to correct errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
+ Ability to work cooperatively with other employees and the public.
