As a Shipping Clerk for Amazon, your job is to maintain detailed records of all inventory within the warehouse, as well as oversee various administrative tasks to support warehouse operations. Your role will involve tasks such as inventory tracking, coordinating shipments, and data entry, which are essential for the smooth functioning of the warehouse, contributing to the timely delivery of goods, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels and track the movement of goods throughout the supply chain.
- Monitor the transportation and delivery of products.
- Inputting data into the warehouse management system on a regular basis can help maintain up-to-date record and improve the overall operation of the warehouse.
- Construct shipping records and tags that comply with regulatory standards and meet business requirements.
- Assist in the coordination of inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Maintain regular communication with logistics partners to ensure that shipments are handled properly.
- Help the warehouse staff with administrative duties on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or its equivalent represents the basic skills and knowledge an individual possesses that will enable them to succeed in a career or further education.
- The ideal candidate would have a background in warehouse or administrative work.
- Proficient in navigating Microsoft Office Suite and the latest warehouse management technologies.
- Expert at organizing and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills.
