As a Social Media Marketing Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Consumer Products Marketing team in building and engaging audiences through compelling social media programs across a variety of franchises such as Disney, Pixar, and Star Wars. You’ll work with internal Cast Members, external licensees and agencies across marketing strategy, advertising, PR and communications, customer engagement and franchise/commercial teams. As a social-first storyteller, you will help shape and implement plans that connect with consumers in inspiring ways, across multiple social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. You will manage the creation of content with external agencies and creators, partner with paid influencers for product amplification opportunities, and ideate new ways to achieve DCP social media marketing goals.

You will be heavily involved in the evolution of the Disney Style handle that reaches over 4 million consumers, so experience in the fashion and beauty industry is a must. You have an impressive track record of creating culturally relevant social media programs and content that have driven high levels of engagement with consumers. You are on top of trends and plugged into pop culture. And you get excited by content creation, bringing your own style and understanding of the audience to life through compelling stories. This role will report to the Manager, Social Media Marketing Strategy.

What You Will Do:

  • Ideate and execute social media marketing strategies, including editorial content approaches that will make DCP social channels a top destination for target audiences

  • Support the day-to-day management of DCP social handles to align with key strategies and business objectives

  • Work with leader and internal partners to execute strategies and campaigns using social media as the tactical pull-down to deliver on business goals

  • Collaborate with Marketing Strategy, Brand Commercialization, Franchise, Licensing, Customer Engagement, Public Relations, and other partners across The Walt Disney Company to optimize social media programs

  • Help to manage external agencies who support DCP social media accounts, including formulating contractual obligations, ensuring fulfillment of work against defined campaign plans, monitoring for quality control, and providing creative feedback

  • Curate social analytics and performance information, to inform social content strategy in real time, and share key data with stakeholders

  • Bring new methods and strategies for success to the table, with confidence to present and execute to success

  • Work as a social expert, with dedicated focus on trends and opportunities

  • Experience with building national level campaigns

  • Knowledge of product development and new product launches

  • Experience in executing live shopping events and social commerce

  • Proficiency in Keynote

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent work experience
