DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position is you will be responsible for patrolling our state facility to protect and guard our property, facility, residents, employees, and visitors from fire, theft, trespass, or other hazards. Our team will rely on you to monitor the camera system, complete assigned rounds, and respond to emergency situations, alarms, and other incidents according to facility protocol. You will also document your observations and actions by completing daily reports at the end of each shift and assist our team with searches, traffic control, and other duties as applicable. Work Schedule and Additional Information: 

Full-time employment, 40 hours per week 
Work hours are third shift: 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 30-minute lunch, every Tuesday and Wednesday off.
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Special Requirements:

You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle operator's license.


Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.


Legal Requirements: 

A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
