We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team in Wichita, KS. This role is an integral part of our technology team and will be responsible for Network Support, End User Support, Incident Response, Procurement Support, and Communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Network Support
  • Supports and maintains the wide area network
  • Assists with the install and configuration of corporate software and hardware
  • Troubleshoots general issues and repairs both software and hardware as needed
  • Installs upgrades and tests corporate technology to ensure optimal performance
  • Assists with the development of long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future computer hardware needs
  • Collaborates with other network personnel to ensure efficient operation of the company's computing environment

End User Support
  • Performs basic onsite analysis, diagnosis and resolution of hardware for end users
  • Assists with recommendation and implementation of solutions
  • Documents all phases of resolution including testing, best solutions and related follow up communication

Incident Response
  • Assists with performance incident responses and emergency network outages in accordance with plans
  • Participates in root cause analysis and response reviews for performance issues as needed
  • Updates the necessary documentation following all performance incidents
  • Assists with post-incident training efforts related to systems and hardware
  • Participates in the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans

Procurement Support
  • Maintains the network equipment inventory
  • Documents hardware failure, repair, installation and removal
  • Liaises with third party support and equipment providers as needed
  • Writes technical specifications for purchase of desktops, hardware and other related product

ATM Maintenance
  • Deploy and configure new ATMs at various locations
  • Manager relationships with ATM vendors
  • Perform regular servicing, diagnose issues, and repair ATMs
  • Install firmware, security patches, and software updates as required for ATMs
  • Ensure ATMs are secure, monitor for fraud, and fix card reader issues

Communication
  • Interacts with Emprise associates and vendors relative to areas of concern involving the technology network
  • Resolves operational issues for end-users and assists with end-user questions or application inquiries
  • Escalates issues as needed

Other duties as assigned within the scope and responsibility of the job

Requirements

  • College degree OR level of education, together with industry experience, enables the applicant to meet the job requirements
  • 1-3 years of network engineering/operations experience required
  • Proficiency with full range of layer 1-7 and routing protocols, TCP/IP protocol suite, DNS, IP space management, Internet Security, switches, and routers required.
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft Office 365 required
  • Ability to be on call as needed
  • Experience with VMware ESXi administration, Windows server administration, VoIP administration, Hypervisor, Cisco networking/router, or switches ASA administration preferred
  • CCNA, CCNP, and/or CCIE preferred
  • Experience working in a managed cloud environment (Azure/AWS) preferred
