Position Description

Role and Responsibilities
Under general supervision of auditorium management, performs routine manual cleaning including dusting, mopping, finishing and buffing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, cleaning and restocking restrooms. May also assist with set up and tear down for productions at the auditorium.
This position is a part-time position consisting of no more than 29 hours a week. 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Sweeps, mops, and waxes floors; vacuums and cleans rugs and carpets.
  • Cleans restrooms and restocks paper and soap supplies.
  • Empties trash receptacles and bags trash for proper disposal.
  • Cleans hallways, stairwells, and other areas of the auditorium by dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
  • Set up and tear down for events: may include room set up of tables, chairs, etc.
  • Help in load-ins for events.
  • Light maintenance of perimeter of building to include trash pick-up and snow removal.
  • Operates vacuum, scrubbers, buffers, waxers, leaf blower and related electrical appliances and equipment.
  • Communicate with Auditorium Admin of anything needing repaired or replaced.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
ABILITY TO: Qualifications and Education Requirements
Applicant must be at least 16 years of age and be able to provide all documents and permits required by state and federal law. 
Willingness and ability to work on an intermittent basis.
Knowledge of routine manual labor work methods.
Ability to understand and follow instructions; perform indoor and/or outdoor work.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
