The team & role

You'll be part of the Popular Pays team, where we're leveraging cutting-edge generative AI capabilities to transform traditional influencer marketing into a seamless, data-driven experience. Each team member plays a critical role in shaping our product, from crafting intuitive user interfaces to developing robust backend systems that power thousands of successful brand-creator collaborations.

  • Owning end-to-end feature development - from designing scalable backend services to crafting intuitive UI components.
  • Brainstorming feature design, system architecture improvements and troubleshooting.
  • Building and integrating cutting-edge generative AI capabilities into our products through APIs and custom implementations.
  • Writing clean, maintainable and testable code, and inspiring others to do the same.
  • Mentoring junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.

Your skills and experience

  • 4+ years backend development experience building production-grade systems (hopefully with Python).
  • 4+ years experience with modern frontend development including expertise in React or similar frameworks.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Solid experience with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling.
  • Deep knowledge of computer science including (but not limited to): Operating Systems, Algorithms, Concurrency and Data Structures.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices - a plus.
  • Understanding of Generative AI concepts and ML system integration - a plus.
