Part-time Office Assistant ID - 9582
The Office Assistant will provide intermediate level administrative and clerical tasks related to the general organizational operations. This position reports directly to the Human Resources Manager. This position provides all necessary organizational support and is responsible for a variety of tasks.
Summary
- Greet and direct office visitors, answer main telephone system, respond to direct requests for information and/or forward messages to the appropriate staff.
- Maintain Fed-Ex, UPS, Amazon, USPS, and Staples accounts.
- General office duties such as filing, copying, flow of correspondence, etc.
- Ordering supplies, business cards, and name plates as needed.
- Ordering, stocking and maintaining the kitchen supplies and supply room as necessary.
- Coordinate materials for meetings and other activities of the organization.
- Provide meeting support, as needed (e.g., scheduling conference rooms, coordinating food, logistics, scheduling travel).
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum of two years office administrative support.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to excel at details, multi-tasking and working under deadlines required. Must have experience and be skilled in the use of software programs including Outlook, MS Word.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a knowledge of Internet and Power Point software.
