Intern, Marketing - Learning and Development (Summer 2025) ID - 9593

About the position

Delta's Marketing team is seeking a talented intern for a 12-week summer internship in Internal Operations - Learning and Development. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in creating training materials and collaborating with various departments within the company. Interns will be fully integrated into the team, contributing to the development of training guides and e-learning modules for over 300 marketing employees, while also gaining exposure to the broader operations of Delta Air Lines.

Responsibilities

  • Help create and update training guides, e-learning modules, and presentation slides for marketing employees.
  • Support the design and build of a curriculum for role-based training.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and perform research to gather content and ensure accuracy.

Requirements

  • Must be an undergraduate student enrolled in a 4-year degree program in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Curriculum, Education, Training, or a related discipline.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Atlanta, GA for the duration of the internship.
  • Experience in deck writing or presentations, project coordination, and analytics communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and pivot for unexpected deliverables or needs.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel.
  • Willingness/ability to learn new skills is required.
  • Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data.
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

  • Rising college seniors enrolled in a 4-year degree program with a graduation date of Fall 2025 or Spring 2026.
  • Experience with eLearning/LMS software (Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia) strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint site administration and OneDrive experience.
  • Ability to digest substantial amounts of data and information to explain what can be learned from the data and how it can support decision making.
  • Ability to develop effective presentations that help explain a need, the analysis, and the findings and recommendations to leaders.
  • Ability to handle shifting priorities that come from the business needs.
