Position Summary

Manage, supervise and coordinate assigned programs, services, and activities for the Albuquerque Museum to include, but not limited to, collection development/management and exhibition acquisition, creation, and implementation; manage the development and the implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities for assigned programs; and coordinate activities with outside groups, organizations and agencies. Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements

Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university art, art history, history, museum studies, cultural or ethnic studies, or anthropology; and

Six (6) years of curatorial experience in a museum or gallery setting; and

To include three (3) years of supervisory experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 

Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain within ninety (90) days from date of hire. 

Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.
