QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ability to communicate superbly in English

· Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills

· Ability to enter data precisely

· Experience in customer service

· Prior airline reservation and reservation system experience preferred (Sabre/Interact/Videcom)

· Technology savvy and have used technology in a professional setting

· Basic Alaska geography knowledge preferred

· Ability to work onsite and commute reliably

· Flexibility to work any day of the week including weekends, holidays and varied hours between 9am-11pm.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

This position will report to the Reservations Manager

· Answer incoming calls and emails in a prompt and friendly manner

· Assist customers with reservations (new, changes and refunds)

· Collect payment for reservations

· Think and react quickly with a sense of urgency to time-sensitive problem situations

· Remain calm during adverse conditions

· Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

· Learn and maneuver computerized reservations to help assist customers with questions and bookings.

· Provide conflict resolution with internal/external customer concerns and requests.

Pay commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
