The Operations Manager for Procure to Pay at Starbucks plays a crucial role in managing key initiatives within the business unit, ensuring high-quality customer service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Grow and develop a team focused on high-quality customer service, limited defects, and fast resolution.
  • Gather best practices that can be integrated into the team.
  • Identify resources to support operations and execution of initiatives.
  • Provide cross-functional leadership for programs and processes.
  • Optimize opportunities, resolve key issues, and identify creative solutions to enhance service provided to the business unit portfolio.
  • Participate in the creation of the strategic plan and annual goals to deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Develop and enhance processes and procedures for efficient operations and high-quality customer service.
  • Identify cost and benefit of potential improvements and manage the implementation of improvements.
  • Utilize internal metrics and conduct ongoing analysis for continuous improvement.
  • Manage the internal team change management of technology-related systems procedures and standards.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to determine technology and applications to support new opportunities.
  • Determine and negotiate service levels that are quantifiable and measurable.
  • Alert leadership and business units of potential impacts that would require an adjustment to service level agreements and renegotiate as needed.
  • Report service levels to clients and communicate progress of new programs.
  • Provide focus and advocacy for the team's needs.
  • Respond to and resolve customer service issues.
