Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our occupational health team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining employee health, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting wellness initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience in occupational or employee health, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Pull and review pre-employment medical paperwork, with the potential to approve documentation to ensure timely processing and compliance.
  • Communicate with candidates regarding required medical documentation and next steps.
  • Educate and assist employees with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) paperwork, ensuring proper completion and submission.
  • Respond via phone to onsite injury/incident calls and provide appropriate triage or follow-up.
  • Perform in-house drug and breath alcohol testing (BAT), maintaining current certifications.
  • Serve as a CPR Instructor Trainer and Training Center Administrator; conduct evaluations of CPR training classes.
  • Collaborate on the development of targeted employee wellness programs, such as hypertension and diabetes education and support initiatives.
  • Provide clinical support in the on-site health clinic, including assessment and triage of sick employees when the lead clinician is unavailable.
  • Enter positive drug test results into a tracking system (manual entry until automated systems are implemented).
  • Monitor and restock first aid supplies throughout the facility.
  • Perform monthly checks on Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to ensure operational readiness.

This is an on-site role within an occupational health clinic that requires a blend of clinical nursing and administrative responsibilities. The RN will work closely with HR and safety teams to support employee health and compliance. This position may also require occasional after-hours availability to respond to urgent employee health matters or escalated situations.
