Summary

The Lead Merchandiser is responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts. This position will be accountable for keeping inventory records and writing replenishment orders on designated weekend accounts (or other possible exceptions), maintaining data entry and transmission of written orders, while keeping open communication between District Supervisor, Account Manager, Store Management and store personnel.

 

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • High School – GED or Diploma preferred.
  • 2-4 years of general work experience; to include but not limited to, communication skills, selling techniques, teamwork, ability to follow an ordering methodology, math skills, and business judgment skills.
  • Must be able to use a personal vehicle during business hours.
  • Experience working with minimal supervision.
  • 3-5 years of DSD Merchandising preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s Licenses, current vehicle liability insurance, and driving record within MVR policy guidelines, pallet jack certification as required.
  • Lifting of 50+ pounds, bending, reaching, kneeling and merchandising.

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills. 
  • Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to use and understand mobile applications. 
  • Proficient in computer application skills i.e., Microsoft, Spring, MM, CGO, Gameplan, BOX etc.…
