About SkyWest

Looking for the next step in your Aircraft Maintenance career? As a SkyWest A&P Mechanic in MKE, you will be a part of a fast-paced environment full of variety that puts your talent to work on our growing fleet of aircraft. Plus, you will qualify for a $10,000 bonus with a commitment to work in MKE for at least three years. Those with military A&P experience are also eligible for an additional $7,500 bonus. This rewarding opportunity will help you gain new skills as you work nose-to-tail on our aircraft, belong to a world-class family of fellow mechanics, and have a crucial impact on the entire SkyWest operation.


Primary Job Duties

  • Will be responsible for making critical decisions regarding aircraft safety in a timely manner
  • Will be responsible for proficiency in all documentation and paperwork, including parts paperwork
  • Must be able to read and understand aircraft drawings
  • Must have basic set of sheet metal tools

Minimum Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Level I A&P Certificate
  • Must holda a valid unrestricted driver's license
  • Must have excellent communication and people skills
  • Problem solving and organizational skills are required
  • Exercise good judgment in working with people in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety
  • Must be familiar with band, be able to read and understand Company and Manufacturer Manuals
  • Minimum 2 years sheetmetal experience
