Forensic Analyst (I-IV) ID - 12096

About the position

BTS Software Solutions is seeking Forensic Analysts (I-IV) to perform investigative and mitigation procedures on computer security incidents in support of customer operations. The primary location for this role is Annapolis Junction, MD, with secondary locations including Augusta, GA, San Antonio, TX, Oahu, HI, and various other locations. The position requires a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

 

As a Forensic Analyst, you will exploit captured media and investigate computer security incidents to derive useful intelligence and enable the mitigation of network vulnerabilities. This role is critical in ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' information systems and requires a strong foundation in computer science and forensic analysis. The educational requirements for this position vary based on the level of the role.

 

Entry-level positions require an Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience. Higher positions require an Associate's degree plus up to 13 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 11 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree and 9 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience must be in the design and development of computer or information systems, programming, computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, and/or systems engineering.

 

 Additionally, completion of military training in a relevant area such as the Joint Cyber Analysis Course (JCAC) will be considered towards the relevant experience requirements, with a 24-week JCAC course counting as 6 months of experience.

  • Collaborate with team members to enhance security measures and protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
