The Worldwide Consumer organization is looking for an Executive Assistant (EA) who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for someone to support two Directors on our growing WW Grocery business. This role will be responsible for our WW Amazon Fresh Private Brands and NA Amazon Fresh Online teams in Seattle, WA or Washington D.C.

This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel. This role will also be responsible for building organizational mechanisms to ensure the teams are running effectively, across time zones. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group.

Both organizations that this Executive Assistant manages are growing with novel challenges. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in an ever-changing environment while staying steady and organized.

Key job responsibilities

  • Managing complex calendars for 2 Directors, one with WW ownership
  • Managing travel and expense reporting for domestic and international travel
  • We are food-based culture, so this EA will be responsible for organizing taste testing and food-based events
  • Organizing team events and building a positive team rapport
  • Managing seating and creating a positive/inspiring physical environment in our offices
  • Owning agenda and PPT content for Team meetings, including Townhalls.
  • Building mechanisms to organize the broader teams, including keeping track of upcoming mechanisms and offering simplification suggestions
  • Managing our office location requirements, including our Amazon Apollo kitchen with unique security clearance challenges
  • While teams are mostly in Seattle and NYC, these Directors are located in Boston and Arlington. This candidate will require traveling to the East Coast regularly.

About The Team

Our teams are building the future of our WW Grocery business and span some of our most fun and interesting elements of our Grocery business. Our first team (run by Vera Harrington) is our WW Private Brands team which is responsible for building all our Amazon-owned Food items (Amazon Saver, Amazon Fresh, Happy Belly, Amazon Grocery, Aplenty). This team works across the EU and US and across Fresh + Core. This EA will need to work beyond Fresh.

Our next team is the NA Fresh Online team run by James Bate. This team is responsible for the Online Fresh business, including CX, Delivery experience, and P&L.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
